Synopsis

You are a recent hire into a budget shop chain during a tax hike event, and the company is finding any way possible to cut costs! People are rushing in to get their hands on the discounted products, and you are the only one standing between them and bagging the goodies. Armed with a faulty and slow POS machine, how long can you survive this onslaught and become the one-and-only star employee?

Gameplay

Endless workplace simulator game where you try your best to serve each customer by correctly checking out their shopping list. Complete each procedure with an increasingly faulty system, and at the same time report malicious customers that may swap discount stickers for a totally different product.

Theme interpretation

  • "Nothing can go wrong ..." as everything can go wrong will go wrong, especially with poor equipment and time constraints.

Controls

  • [Mouse Button 1]  to drag and drop an item / POS monitor
  • [Mouse Button 2 / Space] to interact with an item

Trivia

POS System, or Point of Sales System is the machine you commonly see when you are paying at the till. These systems are usually custom-made with hardware and software tailored to the client's needs. Nowadays though it's more common to find POS systems as an entirely software-based solution built on a smart tablet.

Fun and infuriating.

As a former retail employee --- I am triggered.

5 Stars tho :)

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game!

Cool :) I was in search for this type of game

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game!

It looks neat but I can't figure out how to play. The tutorial was very confusing, could use some simple text that actually spells out what to do. I figured out how to scan items, but what to do after that is beyond me. Clicking anywhere else doesn't seem to do anything. It seems a lot more of your time went in to polishing than ironing things out and making it playable and easy to understand. A lot better than what I submitted though lol

You need to drag the screen out from the right and proceed from there, I need to convey that better. Sorry!

No worries! At least it's just misunderstanding and not a bug. You did a really good job, especially if this was a one person project. I'm actually kind of intimidated by it lol

this was so fun! i love simulator games and this was spot on and very great to play. The only thing i didn't like was the swinging of the tools, i think they swung a bit too much and it made it very hard to scan some things. But other than that, everything was great. Loved the sound, art, and music. Very great game!

Thank you for playing! Thanks for the comment and kind words too. We will take a look and see if there is a way to make the tools swing a bit less while still maintaining the chaoticness and controlability.

Very nice art work and well polished, the game itself feels great. thankyou for my termination notice :D

Thank you for playing! Hope you had fun despite being fired. It's not a good working place anyway ;)

cool game woulda liked for it to be more mobile friendly

Thank you for playing! A mobile version of the game will be nice, and we will consider that some point in the future! Thanks!
